Wireless networking refers to any type of computer network that is not connected by cables. This dynamic field covers technologies ranging from near field communication, wi-fi routers, smartphones to satellite communications. This application was created as a review of wireless networking acronyms, terms and concepts. It has multiple choice style questions as an easy way to review brief questions while on the move. The intended audience ranges from High School students to Undergraduate Computer Science majors, professionals refreshing their knowledge, and non-native English speakers trying to improve their English technical vocabulary. There are references for Common Acronyms, Common Ports and the 7 Layer OSI Model. This is meant to be a study aide and not an entertainment application. Most questions are considered common knowledge and usually have been cross-referenced with at least two different sources.
